Hi! I'm Pete. I set up this wiki in May 2008 in the hope that it will become a useful resource for people looking for good children's literature. We're no experts in wiki structuring or editing, but it's been fun learning, and my son is way ahead of me :-)
We hope to see plenty of people contributing from their own experience. So many good children's books are out of print now that's it's always good to hear tips from others.

Hi! I am Darth Newdar.
I am an editor of wikis and Wikipedia and I am the founder-admin of this wiki. I am known as Bethel23 across all Wikia wikis, but I am known as Darth Newdar on Wikipedia.
I have made around 1600 edits on Wikipedia, most of all edits ever made on this wiki (see below), and around 1500 on VexiWiki (Flags wiki), on which I am an administrator.
P.S. If anyone is interested all the letters of my real first name are in Newdar.
On this wiki I have created nearly all of the current pages (around 300 books and counting) and also uploaded the logo for the wiki, the favicon, and the "Welcome to Children's Books Wiki" image on the main page.
I have also spent a lot of time getting the Infobox book working - it took ages to get the rows to hide themselves when empty!
The most recent large change I have made (May 2009) was to change the skin to using monaco custom. I use this to get the sidebar green. It's complicated coding, trust me :).
On almost the Wiki's first birthday, it had its first featured article, The Chronicles of Narnia.
We have made 8,649 edits!
