Theodore Boone is a children's legal thriller by best-selling American author John Grisham. It is titled Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer in the United States, and is also titled Theodore Boone: Young Lawyer in the United Kingdom, although it is more commonly published in the UK simply as Theodore Boone. It was Grisham's first novel for a younger audience, with Grisham stating it was written for 8–12-year-olds. The book was later followed by a sequel, Theodore Boone: The Abduction.
Half the man, twice the lawyer.
In the small city of Strattenburg, there are many lawyers, and though he's only thirteen years old, Theo Boone thinks he's one of them. Theo knows every judge, policeman, court clerk—and a lot about the law. He dreams of being a great trial lawyer, of a life in the courtroom.
But Theo finds himself in court much sooner than he expected. Because he knows so much—maybe too much—he is suddenly dragged into the middle of a sensational murder trial. A cold-blooded killer is about to go free, and only Theo knows the truth.
The stakes are high, but Theo won't stop until justice is served.

The book focuses on the trail of a man who is accused of murdering his wife. Theo hacks into various websites, using his parent's code, to find information. Some mild bad language.
