The Blitzed Brits

DescriptionEdit

The Blitzed Brits is an irreverent history book, written by Terry Deary. It is part of the Horrible Histories series.

Can you imagine life without television, roadsigns and bananas? Not to mention the late-night bombing raids. These were just some of the hardships for the people who stayed at home in World War II – the blitzed Brits.

Reader's ReviewsEdit

1Edit

I thought it was going to be really horrible because the series is called Horrible Histories, and the back of the books aren't very nice. I went to the library, and got the book out. I thought that if there were any horrible bits, I'd stop. There weren't, however, and the only nasty bits were at the end in the chapter entitled "The Home Front". I enjoyed it.

2Edit

This is just one of the massive Horrible Histories range, but it's really good! I prefer the informatives too the Handbooks and things like that.
