The Birthday Book is an illustrated treasury of birthday stories and poems. The book was edited by Michel Morpurgo and Quentin Blake.

Birthdays have a very special way of enhancing how we feel and think. They can mean something different for each of us, and they're not always easy but, just sometimes, they can be wonderfully surprising. In The Birthday Book, various authors and poets bring you birthday stories that are magical, boisterous, adventurous, mysterious, reflective, moving, mischievous, poetic, joyful and inspiring – just like real life!

Reader's Reviews

I thought the book was very good as I like treasurys. I liked all the different storys. A few of the stories, like one from Harry Potter, I didn't read because we don't agree with them.
