Ring Out Bow Bells! is a historical fiction novel written by Cynthia Harnett, and published in 1953.

The scene is London in 1415, a very busy London but nothing like the one we know. For these are the days of the old London Bridge with the houses on it; Master Whittington has been three times Lord Mayor, and King Henry V is preparing the army that he will lead to war in France. But for Dickon, these events seem unimportant. He is 12, and has just been apprenticed. But,m through a combination of events, he knows rather more than is good for him...

Excellent Cynthia Harnett. Not quite as good as some of here other novels (The Wool-Pack, for instance), but very good none the less.
