The protagonist is a 12-year-old boy named Percy Jackson. Percy is actually a demigod, the son of a Greek god, and a mortal woman, Sally Jackson. Once learning that he is the son of Poseidon, he goes on remarkable journeys in the Greek world, all leading to stop the evil Titan Kronos from destroying the world.
