Biggles and friends set off again on the trail of adventure and danger.
Top secret documents are missing and with them a nuclear research scientist demanding one million dollars for the return of the papers which in enemy hands could only mean annihilation. Biggles and Bertie try to track down Harald Neckel in the Peruvian jungle - under the pretence of looking for Orchids - and Bertie's struggle with a giant anaconda is by no means their closest brush with death.
