In the 20th century, the voyages of Lemuel Gulliver have been forgotten. After visiting Lilliput he presented some livestock to Captain Biddel, who in turn discovered Lilliput for himself and captured Lilliputians taken them to England. They escaped and set up a 'Lilliput in Exile' on an island building called Mistress Masham's Repose, itself part of a Country Estate.
A girl called Maria discovers a Lilliputian baby, and despite initially kidnapping it, starts to see them as friends. Her evil vicar guardian and a governess called Miss Brown want to exhibit the creatures, perhaps take them to Hollywood, its up to her and an absent minded professor to stop them...

An ideal style for children, with a meandering narrative. Brings out the well known story of Gulliver's Travels. Recommended for any age though. Longtimeago (talk) 09:37, July 20, 2012 (UTC)
