Ivy Cottage is a young children's book, written by E. J. Taylor and published in 1984.

Violet Pickles has never heard an owl hoot or slept outdoors at night. Violet can expect many surprises when Miss Biscuit, a retired nanny, takes her to live in the country - and Ruby Buttons is just one of the surprises. The stories in this new series follow the unusual adventures of these two special rag dolls with humour and affection.

Reader's Reviews

Ivy Cottage and E.J. Taylor's other books in the same series are enjoyable children's picture books. I read this book when I was younger and I still enjoy it now. The characters are really individual and interesting. This is a good book. I recommend it immensely. (Olivia age 15)

Ivy Cottage is a little house covered with ivy. I have enjoyed reading this book over and over again. It brings a smile across my face. I hope other children will enjoy it as much as I have. (Sapphire age 11)
