Reader's Reviews[]

I thought this was a really good but not as good as Michael Morpurgo's other books. I would of like to know where Kitty, Monty's mother had gone. She was at the beginning of the book but then the author didn't write anymore about her. I have read a lot of Michael Morpurgo's books. He's my favourite author at the moment. I would recommend this book. (Oliva Age 13)

I thought it was amazing, especially since I'm a big fan of cats. I haven't read any other Michael Morpurgo books though, but I hope to do so in the future. (Daniel, age 10, Great Britain)

Monty does get into fights sometimes. He dies at the end, naturally.
