Spy Dog: Captured is a children's adventure novel, written by Andrew Cope, and published in 2006. It is the second book in the Spy Dog series, a sequel to the original Spy Dog, and was followed by Spy Dog: Unleashed. The book was originally titled Spy Dog 2, but was renamed to bring its title in line with other books in the series.

Lara's looking forward to a well-earned retirement from MI5, but her plans to relax on holiday with the Cook family are quickly disrupted. In a cave by the beach, the children stumble on to a smuggling ring, and it's down to Lara to get help. Her brilliant new gadgets come in very handy, and, after a thrilling high speed chase, Lara makes sure the criminals are apprehended and everyone is safe. At last she can get back to her retirement . . . or can she?

Another great SPY DOG book. GM451 learns that you can't retire very easily, even when your a spy dog! I love these books, and I hope you will love them to. Three cheers for LARA the high-tech spy dog.
