Description[]

Michael Rosen has taken a traditional children's rhyme, and updated it for today's audience. Little Rabbit Foo Foo rides his motorbike through the forest terrorising the other residents, and taking no notice of the good fairy who says "if you don't change your attitude, I'll turn you into a Goonie!"

Reader's Reviews[]

1[]

I find this book very enjoyable, and children love it to. I suppose I shouldn't recommend it really, because Rabbit Foo Foo is portrayed bopping the worms, tigers etc. on the head with an enormous mallet, but somehow the rhyme and the illustrations combine to make this great fun.

I love this book and I am still singing the song even now. When I was younger I knew I really enjoyed the song and illustrations and the Good Fairy! (Olivia Age 14)

The illustrations are quite violent - in a Tom and Jerry kind of way. You want to focus your child's attention on Rabbit Foo Foo's bad attitude - you don't want them copying Foo Foo's behaviour with a mallet. The story features goblins and a 'good' fairy (dressed as a grannie, with a handbag instead of a wand!).
