Reader's Reviews[]

1[]

This is a very enjoyable book for a young child to read alone, or for a read-aloud. It is also a thoughtful story for any child who is worried about feeling different. The illustrations are bright and cheerful, and Elmer himself is so brightly coloured that he is unforgettable. It is the illustrations that really make this book, the text is so-so, to be honest.

2[]

Wonderful stories to read with young children.
